Ace Hardware Moving to Larger Building

Ace Hardware has moved into a new 17,000 square foot red-roofed building south of the movie theaters in Avon. The old store in the Food Lion parking lot closed March 14th and the new store opened March 16th. The new building, seven to eight thousand feet larger than the old store, will allow Ace to carry pet food, spas, TV’s, Benjamin Moore paint and have a garden center. The Grand Re-opening is set for May 19th and 20th and will feature more than 20 vendors, a local radio station broadcasting live and food.

Bike Week Set for April 6-9, 2006

We noticed a flyer about "Bike Week" outside of Pop's Raw Bar and were curious. Anything that starts with "Beer, Bikes, Babes," mentions "Alcholics Clothing" and a fire department as sponsors, and gives a time when "the Mayhem begins" probably won't have Chuckie the Clown or balloons for kids.
