Surf Fishing School Offered
Classroom plus "on the beach" instruction

Joe Malat's Outer Banks Surf Fishing School will hold
three sessions during 2006: May 18-21, September 7-10 and October 19-22.
One day will be classroom instruction and a day and a half will be spent
on the beach fishing. For tuition of $275, participants will also receive
an evening social, tackle giveaways, one lunch, bait and an autographed
copy of Joe's book Surf Fishing.
The school is in its 13th year and the instructors are Joe Malat and Mac
Currin, both experienced surf fishermen and skilled teachers. Space is
limited to 25 students and advance reservations are required. Headquarters
for the schools will be the Comfort Inn South in Nags Head. Lodging is
not included in the price.
Students will learn how to identify fish, how to select rods, reels and
tackle, how to tie knots and how to cast plus valuable tips and tricks
used by the pros.
